Biogas production sites set to open at farms outside Phoenix

Arizona will soon be home to several new biogas production facilities, a renewable energy source that aims to replace natural gas.

Avolta, a Orem, Utah-based development company focused on renewable energy, is working with Phoenix-based developer Atlas Global Holdings, LLC on a series of biogas projects in Arizona, the first of which will break ground in Buckeye on Tuesday.
