The SanTan Brewery Company Inc. is looking to add patio space at its Chandler location to allow for live music and entertainment.
The brewery is located at 495 East Warner Road near Arizona Avenue.
SanTan has a 1,500-square-foot tasting room and an existing 800-square-foot patio at the location. Plans call for the patio to be expanded by 600 square feet.
Scores of restaurants, bars and coffee shops have been adding outdoor and open-air spaces during the coronavirus pandemic and all its accompanying consumer behaviors and government rules.
The Chandler City Council is being asked to approve a use permit and entertainment use permit for the expansion at its meeting today (Sept. 23).
Plans call for the outdoor space to host acoustic musical performances and other events.
