Homes proposed for 273 acres in Scottsdale

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Lyle Anderson Co. has submitted preliminary plat plans for a new 273-acre residential development in Scottsdale.

The project is called Fiesta Ranch and is located at 136th Street and Rio Verde Drive.

Wildcat Ridge LLC (an affiliate of the Anderson Co.) owns the land and plans call for “a series of gated enclaves.”

There will be 227 homes at the development, according to plans submitted with the City of Scottsdale.

The developer is asking for “amended development standards having Planned Community District, Environmentally Sensitive Lands (PCD ESL) zoning with comparable zoning of Single-Family Residential (R1-43 and R1-18) and Open Space (OS) districts on a 273-acre site”, according to a city summary of the proposal.

Kimley-Horn & Associates and RVI Planning + Landscape Architecture are providing engineering and planning services for the residential development.
