Scottsdale gelato shop coming to downtown Gilbert

A popular Old Town Scottsdale gelato spot is coming to Gilbert.

Gelato Cimmino has plans for a new location in Gilbert’s Heritage District at the northeast corner of Gilbert Road and Vaughn Avenue.

Owner Mario Cimmino already has a gelato location on Main Street in Scottsdale near Scottsdale Road.

The new Gilbert location totals 2,400 square feet and sits on 0.11 acres.

The Gilbert Redevelopment Commission will look at Gelato Cimmino’s plans at its meeting this evening (March 16).

Gilbert’s Heritage area is home to a number of popular bars and restaurants.
