KB readies for new homes in Southwest Tucson

KB Home paid $1,501,500 ($10,500 per lot) for approximately 39 acres near the Northwest corner of Valencia and Camino del La Tierra on April 4, 2023.

The property features incredible mountain views of the Tucson and Catalina Mountains. KB Home rezoned the property from GR-1 (Rural Residential) to GR-5 (Multiple Residences) and has a tentatively approved plat for 143 single-family homesites. Approved in March 2023, the project sets aside 9.92 acres of natural open space and features 5.22 acres of functional/usable open space.

Michael Anderson, KB Home VP, Regional Counsel, handled the Purchase & Sale Agreement for the buyer and seller.

Bobbi Raymond at Fidelity National Trust handled the escrow for the buyer and seller.

The seller, The Wong Living Trust, Yu Jen and Irene Wong, of Tucson, was represented by Dan Wong of HomeSmart Advantage Group (Tucson).
