CLEAN UP SUCCESS!

We held our first ever Love Your Community Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 6th in conjunction with our free community dump day.

With the help of about 40 volunteers we successfully took 6 truck loads of garbage from our roadways to the public works yard. We also had approximately 150 loads on Friday and 220 loads on Saturday that community members brought in as well.

Thank you for helping us keep our community clean and thank you to Dan and Laura for sending us the picture of them in front of their adopted roadway in honor of their sweet dog, Nala.

1/2 CENT MAINTENANCE TAX
Over the last couple of months, you may have heard about or seen flyers with information for the Preserving Our Future community meetings. If you weren’t able to attend in person, staff from Pinal County Public Works is hosting a virtual meeting on Monday, April 29th.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about what has successfully been accomplished with the 1/2 cent maintenance tax. This is not a new tax, in fact it has been in existence for 40 years and is up for renewal.

The Board of Supervisors had a work session on Wednesday, April 17 where they discussed the impacts of this tax. You can watch the meeting HERE or visit www.PreservingPinal.com for more information.
