SAN TAN VALLEY — Pinal County continues its five-year Capital Improvement Plan for San Tan Valley by improving Combs and Kenworthy roads to enhance public safety.
The Capital Improvement Plan is used as a planning tool to identify potential funding and establish a tentative schedule for Pinal County infrastructure projects. The project establishes priorities for facilities, parks and trails, transportation, etc. The Board of Supervisors approved the Transportation Improvement and Maintenance Program on June 7, 2023, with various projects lasting until 2028.
During a town hall meeting, the results of a District 2 residents survey were released, and it was claimed that $43 million will be going into transportation projects in the 2024-25 fiscal year.
