ACC adopts new policies to prevent fraud

The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) has unanimously approved a set of new policies aimed at deterring fraudulent business filings and better protecting Arizona business owners. The measures were adopted on May 8, 2025, and are part of the Commission’s ongoing efforts to improve customer experience while safeguarding the integrity of business records.

The ACC’s Corporations Division identified four key policy changes that will go into effect starting June 16, 2025, for in-person filings, with online implementation to follow later this year in conjunction with the rollout of a new filing system.
