Peoria aims to update housing plan

The city of Peoria will be keeping a keen eye on housing needs throughout the city, particularly for the need of affordable housing, which has grown into a national issue.

Beginning in 2025, most municipalities are required by the state to conduct and publish a housing needs assessment every five years and supply annual updates to the Arizona Department of Housing.

Peoria’s Neighborhood and Human Services Department has plans to come before council in a couple months to suggest policy ideas relative to next five years.
