The city of Avondale celebrated its 80th anniversary since its founding in 1946, inviting local and state leaders, residents and partner organizations to Estrella Mountain Community College for the State of the City. Delivering his second address since being elected as mayor, Mike Pineda highlighted the city’s various accomplishments and plans for “a bold future.”

“I am proud to be a small part of that story and I’m excited for all that we will accomplish together.”
