Buckeye highlights growth and development

By Joshua Fenty | West Valley View

The city of Buckeye recently aired its State of the City YouTube video — focusing on the city’s new businesses, infrastructural developments and future plans for Downtown Buckeye. For Mayor Eric Orsborn that last year has been marked by rapid economic development and growth.

“As we reflect on the past year and look toward the future, I am proud to share the incredible progress Buckeye has made,” the mayor said in a statement on the city’s website. “Our city continues to be one of the fastest-growing communities in the nation and with that growth comes responsibility to invest in our infrastructure, secure our water future, support economic development and ensure a high quality of life for our residents.

“Thank you for your continued support in shaping Buckeye’s bright future.”
