SmokeTree Resort withdraws its application at Paradise Valley Town Hall

The owners of SmokeTree Resort have withdrawn their application for a redevelopment. An artist’s rendering illustrates what plans were prior to the Jan. 15 pull.

GenTree LLC has withdrawn its project application to demolish and rebuild SmokeTree Resort, according to Paradise Valley officials.

In November, the application received a recommended denial from Paradise Valley Planning Commission.

The withdrawal came Jan. 15, according to an emailed weekly Friday afternoon newsletter from Town Manager Jill Keimach’s office.
