Updated plans field for new Black Rock Coffee in Scottsdale

DPC Companies has submitted updated plans with the City of Scottsdale for a proposed Black Rock Coffee Bar at Shea Boulevard and 70th Street.

The 1,900-square-foot coffee shop would be added to the 7 Thousand Shea shopping center property.

Plans also call for a drive-thru.

Black Rock has been growing its footprint in the Phoenix market with new stores having opened or in the works in Scottsdale, Mesa and Chandler.

The proposed location on Shea Boulevard will take the place of an existing building. Outdoor, covered seating areas area also proposed.

Plans were originally filed with the city in October and have been updated and filed with Scottsdale’s Design Review Board for site plan and landscaping plan approvals.
