$3.7 Million Tucson Home Sold in 3 Days

(TUCSON, Ariz.) — Arizona’s leader in luxury real estate sales, Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to announce the $3.795 million sale of Tucson’s “Hacienda Rosetta Marie”, the creation of a dream team of designers and undoubtedly one of Tucson’s most beautiful homes. This impressive piece of architecture is basking in Spanish flavor, a product of its creator’s immersion in San Miguel de Allende culture, steeped in both history and Spanish Colonial style.

Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty Luxury Agents Bryan Durkin, Susan Neitzel, and Anne Ferro sold the property and put it under contract in an incredible three days. This masterpiece was the creation of an enviable team of designers, led by renowned architect Larry Pearson and completed by craftsmen from around the world. It was designed with only one thing in mind: quality and attention to detail above all else. Part of the team would fully relocate to Tucson as a result, entranced with the possibilities of the area. Durkin was in a unique position, having helped transact this property both this time, as well as the last time it was sold five years ago.

“Having represented both the original owners and current sellers five years ago in a totally different market, we were elated to have been selected again to list this spectacular property and bring it to the market when the Tucson luxury market is at its all-time high,” said Durkin. “The price we set and ultimately got didn’t shock me as much as the amount of interest we had, including a back-up contract for substantially more than list price. This is Tucson’s time to shine and catch up to other competing markets, as we are still undervalued in my opinion compared to Phoenix, Palm Springs and Santa Fe.”

Located at 7288 N. Cloud Canyon Place, this hacienda covers 6,842-square-feet over 1.68 acres in the scenic Canyons neighborhood. Built in 1999, this estate has all the makings of a beautiful desert home, including desert plants and natural desert, along with more classic and elegant features such as a courtyard, fountain, and stone and wood flooring. Finally, there are a few modern twists such as a built-in barbeque and built-in entertainment center.

With three bedrooms and three full baths, space is partitioned with luxury in mind. Spaciousness and openness are key aspects, exemplified by its skylights and high and vaulted ceilings. The large windows overlooking the desert scenery bring a sublime serenity to every room, and the wood ceilings manage to give it a frontier feel within modern amenities.

The kitchen is a unique combination of form and function. The induction cooktop and kitchen island make it a pleasant and practical place to prepare meals for friends and loved ones, but the hardwood countertops and cabinetry make this a special blend of old and new, and an impressive area to entertain as well as create.

Lastly, there is the courtyard, a wonderful final touch as you entertain your friends and loved ones. The beautiful canyon backdrop peppered with saguaros is gorgeous enough, but in it the Spanish sensibility is infused with Tuscan style. Trees and shrubs serve as a strong color contrast to the desert scenery, and a calmness permeates the entire area. A truly sublime area to enjoy life with the people you care about.
