At the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee’s Jan. 24 countdown event for next year’s big game, Gov. Doug Ducey touted the festivities as an ideal way to show off the West Valley to the world.
The event is slated for Feb. 23, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
The desire to use football’s biggest event to showcase Arizona is reflected in the Super Bowl LVII 2023 logo, which was unveiled at the event. It features the shape of Arizona prominently and includes colors reminiscent of a desert sky at sunset, “intended to picture our endless skies here … and endless potential,” said Jay Parry, host committee president and chief executive officer.
