The search is over.
Wickenburg will soon have a new town manager sitting in that office at Town Hall. After an extensive search, which included a meet and greet of the top four candidates, it was announced during Monday’s Town Council meeting that Stephen Erno was chosen.
“I’m just thrilled – I can’t tell you how excited I am to be here,” Erno said to council. “I’m very humbled to have been selected as town manager for the Town of Wickenburg. I think it’s going to be a great opportunity for us all. I look forward to working with all of you.”
During the public meet and greet on April 26, each of the candidates spoke to the dozens who turned out. They were asked to talk a little about themselves and then discuss the Town’s three greatest strengths as well as opportunities and challenges.
“First off, thank you all for coming out tonight,” he said. “This is a great turnout and it really speaks to the way the town views itself and that the residents here take such pride is great to see.”
