Parker hires new town manager

The Town of Parker has hired a new Town Manager. An employment agreement with Edward O. Dickie III was approved by the Town Council at their April 18 meeting.

Dickie, a native of St. George, Utah, was interviewed by the Town on March 30. He was offered a job the following day. His first day on the job will be May 8. Until then, the Council appointed Community Development Director Nora Yackley as Interim Manager.

According to a copy of his employment agreement provided by the Town, his salary will be $150,000 per year.
