CASA GRANDE — A proposed thermal gas-fired generating station and battery storage facility just outside the Casa Grande city limits near West Selma Highway and Midway Road drew concerned residents to an information meeting at Francisco Grande Hotel on Tuesday afternoon.
The developer of Project Bella hosted an information event where company representatives fielded questions. Pinal County Supervisor Steve Miller attended to hear from company representatives and from local residents.
According to the company’s website, Project Bella is seeking to build 10 natural gas turbines and a grid-charged battery storage facility. The site is generally southwest of the hotel and golf resort.
