COOLIDGE — Many are calling Pinal County one of the fastest growing areas not just in Arizona but in the nation. Coolidge is no exception, having grown in many ways over the past year and with new developments yet to come.
During the Oct. 24 “Breakfast with the Mayor,” Mayor Jon Thompson gave a presentation on recent developments within the city as well as what the near future has in store.
Desert Senita Community Health Center has opened in the Safeway Plaza, providing a mixture of urgent care and general care. Desert Senita is known for working in smaller, tight-knit communities and will be a huge benefit to Coolidge citizens who have noted a lack of medical facilities in the area, Thompson said. They will also eventually be opening a pharmacy in a separate building on Arizona Boulevard.
