ELOY — Plans for Eloy’s new hospital have been on the books for the past few years. Now, it is finally a reality, as City Council members, staff and community leaders toured Exceptional Community Hospital, which is set to open next week.
The hospital, located on Sunshine Boulevard just off Interstate 10, is state of the art, with an emergency room, trauma room, a clinic area for outpatient care and an imaging suite for X-rays, CT scans and MRIs.
Eloy Mayor Andrew Sutton was in attendance for the tour of the hospital and told PinalCentral that the opening of the facility “puts Eloy on the map.”
“I remember years ago when I first saw plans of this hospital on a piece of paper. Now, almost three years later, I’m standing in it,” Sutton said. “This is incredible, this puts Eloy on the map in such a good way and is a game changer for our entire town.”
