CASA GRANDE — The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved two requests related to a downtown housing development this week.
National company Gorman & Company on Dec. 4 received approval for a conditional use permit for 64 residential dwelling units at 115 W. Main Ave., just south of the railroad tracks. The other request was for a landscape variance on a requirement for a 15-foot street frontage landscape area to varying widths. The proposal comprises two blocks between Florence Street and Top and Bottom Street and between Main Avenue and Second Avenue.
First Avenue splits the site into two parcels; Block A is 1 acre and Block B is 1.44 acres.
