Friday, March 6 marks the final day of service for Goodyear’s City Manager Wynette Reed.

Reed announced her retirement in October after 39 years of public service.

“Serving as the city manager of Goodyear has been the honor of my lifetime. I am deeply grateful for the trust the city council and community has placed in me and for the opportunity to help shape a city that is innovative, resilient and full of heart,” said Reed. “While this marks the end of my chapter, I truly believe this is just the beginning for Goodyear. The future is bright, and I cannot wait to see all that this city accomplishes in the years ahead.”
