The Gilbert Planning Commission has recommended Town Council’s approval of the designs for Gilbert Regional Park’s next phases of construction, covering approximately 220 acres of the 258-acre park.
Though the commissioners did not have any comments for the town staff on the design during their hearing, they had discussed the plans in a study session last year.
So far council action has not been scheduled on those plans, which will finally add amenities to a far greater area of the sprawling park.
