Gilbert has named five finalists in its search for a new town manager, drawing from both inside the organization and beyond Arizona.
The candidate pool includes two internal applicants, one external candidate from Arizona and two from out of state.
The finalists are Ron Corbin, city manager of Avondale; Robert Field, former city manager of Medford, Oregon; Mario Paniagua, assistant town manager for Gilbert; Leah Rhineheimer, assistant town manager for Gilbert; and Alison Zelms, city administrator of Rochester, Minnesota.
