From job fairs to resume writing and other resources, several services are being offered to help laid-off Lucid Motors workers get back into the workforce.
Arizona@Work, the state workforce development network, is organizing several hiring events, bringing together employers and those looking for a job.
“Arizona@Work Pinal County is committed to supporting every individual impacted by these layoffs,” said Joel Millman, director of Pinal County economic and workforce development, who also serves as director for Arizona@Work Pinal County. “Helping people navigate career transitions is exactly what our workforce system is built to do. We are grateful for the support of our regional partners, employers and community organizations who continue to work alongside us to connect people with new opportunities and strengthen our local workforce.”
Arizona@Work Pinal County is coordinating two public hiring events designed to connect job seekers with employers who are actively hiring, the press release said.
“In conjunction with the hiring event, attendees will also have access to career readiness workshops focused on resume writing and interview preparation to help strengthen their job search before meeting with employers,” the press release said.
