Dear 2013 BIGGER than Borders Amigos y Amigas –
In October of 2013, Rancho Feliz rallied its “Guardian Warrior” volunteers and donors from the United States and Mexico for an International Service Weekend.
We rode bikes in the Cochise County Classic and conducted the first ever “Limpieza por Becas” (Clean Up for Scholarships) Food Distribution and Plastic Recycle Program in nearby Agua Prieta. And we raised a whopping $221,295 – a phenomenal sum for a weekend event.
It was an historic effort we will never forget…….. Or will we?
No we won’t……. And here’s why.
Kristi Ford and Bill Davis have produced a 4-minute video that fully captures the spirit, power and good works of the weekend.
This short video says MUCHAS GRACIAS! to all our participating Guardian Warriors and donors.
In addition to Bill and Kristi, special thanks also go to Rancho Feliz graphic designer Neill Fox (http://foxnoggin.com/), Perimeter Bicycling and cameramen Mark Sanchez and Morris Scott.
Please share this Thank You video with your donors, friends and anyone who may be interested in participating in this year’s 2014 BIGGER than Borders event. (For those of you on Facebook – please post away!)
The 2014 BIGGER than Borders registration page is up on our Rancho Feliz web-site. This year’s event is limited to only 80 USA riders and is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis. As a prior BIGGER than Borders attendee you have the first right to register before we go out to other interested parties, so secure your position today. We have lots of Tucson riders anxious to join us and see what this “Rancho Feliz” thing is all about.
Many thanks, and with a 27-mile ride option I might just sign up again myself!
Tu Viejo Amigo,
Gil
