On May 22, Paradise Valley Town Council plans to vote on the Scottsdale Cottonwoods Resort & Suites amended Special Use Permit.
The developer filed a substantially modified 100-page application that was made available to the public on April 10. The original application consisted of four pages and a site plan, and after nine months did not receive staff support and was denied by the Paradise Valley Planning Commission.
Without receiving comment from the applicant or the public, the council extended the vote from April 24 to May 22 to allow the developer time to finalize the application and development agreement.
