Maricopa City Council approves budget, 10-Year capital plan

Maricopa City Council voted Tuesday to adopt its 2014-15 budget and a 10‐Year Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal years 2015-24. The $148.5M 2014-15 Operating and Capital Improvement Plan budget provides $60.4M for operations and $88M for the CIP. The 10-year CIP budget totals $188.4M and would pay for projects including a grade separation study and design at White and Parker Road Union Pacific Railroad at a cost of $1M to the city and $2.75M for city hall street improvements along White and Parker Road (AZBEX, May 30; Apr. 22; Jul. 20, 2012).
