A general contractor has yet to be hired to build 51 townhomes called Dorsey Lane at 1233 E. Broadway Road in Tempe being developed by , a joint venture between Arizona’s New Leaf Communities and Santa Monica-based Watt Communities.
The $7.5M, 117KSF project, which is close to permitting for 14 frame buildings, could break ground in February with the first structures to be completed about July 1.
The architect is BSB Design, landscape architect is Wildwood Land Design, civil engineer is CEG, and the owner is Watt New Leaf Dorsey LLC.
Steve Pritulsky, president and CEO of New Leaf Communities, said the three-story buildings on three acres will consist of a mix of three-, four- and five-plexes. The density is 17.3 dwelling units per acre. Dorsey Lane will contain four two-bedroom units, 21 three-bedroom units and 26 four-bedroom units.
