[NEWS RELEASE] Avondale announces the launch of Accela Citizen Access and Electronic Document Review

Avondale software

Avondale softwareThe City of Avondale Development and Engineering Services Department is excited to announce the launch of Accela Citizen Access (ACA) and Electronic Document Review (EDR), a web based software that will allow anyone to submit applications online and receive approvals digitally. The official launch date for ACA & EDR was May 20, 2015.

ACA & EDR allows Development and Engineering Service Department clients to apply for projects electronically through the internet as well as have their designs reviewed electronically by staff, reducing the need for paper copies and trips to city offices.  ACA also allows clients the ability to see exactly where their project is in the review process, and what to expect as their project moves toward approval.  Most clients will be able to pay for their permits online and print out their own building permits; in fact, this will allow some clients to never have to leave their office while getting a permit for their project from the city.

The process starts online, at the following link:   https://onlinepermitting.avondale.org.  For more information please contact Brett Harris at 623.333.4027 or bharris@avondale.org .
