Civil complaint filed against GoDaddy founder’s son

A woman who has accused the son of GoDaddy’s founder of assault announced Wednesday that she has filed a civil complaint against him in Maricopa County Superior Court.

Tonia Cupp, 34, is seeking an undisclosed amount in monetary damages from Robert Sean Parsons, the son of GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons. The complaint stems from a July incident in which she told police that he strangled, hit and verbally assaulted her in his Scottsdale home.
