The Chandler city council is going back to the drawing board after it couldn’t make a selection from the five finalists it identified in August
Chandler will start over in its search for a new city manager, after the City Council was unable to make a selection from the five finalists it identified in August.
“We all understand that this is a critical position for the city’s future,” Mayor Jay Tibshraeny said, in a prepared statement. “Initiating a new recruitment will allow us to explore additional candidates in order to find the best fit for the organization and for the community.”
The city will resume the national search in early January, said Matt Burdick, a city spokesman.
