Two Tempe City Council incumbents appeared on their way to re-election Tuesday night, while one newcomer was well in front of three other challengers in their bid to fill a third seat.
Joel Navarro and Kolby Granville, who currently sit on the council, were the two leading vote-getters, according to early, unofficial results released by the Maricopa County Elections Department on Tuesday night.
