Lynda Williams lives in the house she and her husband built from the ground up over 35 years.
It’s where she raised three children, where her grandkids come to play and where she uses equine therapy to help clients — mostly children — overcome emotional issues. Roughly 15 acres, it’s far enough from State Route 287, but just close enough to her Eleven Mile Corner community neighbors, whom she’s referred to as family.
After her husband Frank — a former Central Arizona College engineering and technology professor nicknamed and known to many as “Boomer” — died six years ago, Williams decided she, too, wanted to live the rest of her life in her Sunshine Boulevard home.
Williams had a recent — and very unexpected — change of plans.
