Fulton Homes Fence Patrol to install 15 pool fences at homes of needy families through Aug. 14
Glendale Star
Zarah and Jason Copeland of Glendale are the first winners of the 2018 Fulton Homes Fence Patrol contest.
Throughout the contest, which is in its 16th year, a new pool fence is installed every Tuesday at the home of a needy family, courtesy of Fulton Homes. Nominees can be submitted on the KMLE Country Radio website, in the contests section at https://kmle1079.radio.com/contest/fulton-homes-fence-patrol-2018.
After years of struggling financially and living in a tiny condo with five people, the Copelands were finally able to buy a home, but like so many homes in this market, it came with a pool that does not have a fence around it. Their daughter, Lacerna, and her 2-year-old son, Jackson, live in the home. Lacerna worries that her son could end up in the backyard unsupervised, even for a very short period of time. For that reason, she nominated her mother and father.
