Adaptive reuse developer Ashley Harder is embarking in a new redevelopment project in Phoenix.

Harder, who is principal and owner of Harder Development, is redeveloping a 66-year old commercial building at 14th Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix.

The project is called CLIO. The building totals 9,000 square feet. It was built in 1953 but has been vacant the past few years.

Harder expects the building to deliver in 2020. It is being marketed as a mixed-use project.

“The CLIO project is an excellent example of an adaptive reuse of a historic building. These are the projects Harder Development is focused on developing,” said Harder. “We chose this location because of our strong interest in preserving historic spaces and we look forward to future tenants bringing new, exciting concepts for the area.”

Harder has redeveloped and rehabilitated other older buildings in Phoenix.

Harder Development has also selected Commerical Properties Inc. broker Kimberly Rollins to market the CLIO with suites ranging between 1,400 and 3,200 square feet.
