Scottsdale looks at multifamily mixed-use plans

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Scottsdale City Council is slated to vote on a development plan and zoning district approvals for a new apartment complex and mixed-use project at McDowell Road and 70th Street.

The property is currently home to Scottsdale Christian Church and a landscaping company.

Cercidium Holdings LLC wants to redevelop the site into a multifamily project called Southdale. Plans call for 267 apartment units and 4,400 square feet of commercial space. The latter includes plans for a 1,100-square-foot neighborhood market.

The Scottsdale council is slated to vote on zoning and development plan approvals at its meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
