National home prices expected to moderate over next 12 months

While home prices have been going through the roof in the past year, economists at CoreLogic Inc. (NYSE: CLGX) expect a modest price decline over the next 12 months nationwide.

Nationally, home prices increased by 4.9% in June 2020, compared with with June 2019. Month over month, home prices increased 1% compared with May of this year, the fastest monthly gain for the month of June since 2013, according to the CoreLogic Home Price Index and HPI Forecast.
