Phoenix sued over growing encampment of unhoused

A group of Phoenix residents is suing the city of Phoenix over a homelessness encampment west of downtown, the Arizona Republic reported on Thursday.

The Republic said 15 residents that own homes, businesses and land between 7th and 15th avenues and Van Buren and Grant streets filed the lawsuit for being subjected to violence, property damage and areas littered with trash and human waste.
