Downtown Mesa Association brings on new leader

The Downtown Mesa Association, the private, nonprofit organization dedicated to business development in the downtown east of Phoenix, has hired a new president and executive director.

Starting Jan. 1, Terry Madeksza will head the organization which has helped oversee a significant transformation in recent years in downtown Mesa, with several new businesses opening up and thriving after years of neglect in that part of town.
