The long-delayed opening of Arizona’s largest resort looks to be extended even more.
The billion-dollar VAI Resort in Glendale was originally set to open in 2023 before it faced several development delays. Last year, officials removed any mention of an opening date from the VAI website, saying an opening date would be announced nine months in advance.
With the end of 2026 now less than nine months away, it appears the resort will go another year without welcoming guests.
Arizona’s Family reached out to VAI officials about a potential opening date, but a spokesperson said “there is no change in our public statement.”
