The new 145-room Marriott hotel at Promenade at Casa Grande celebrated its grand opening ceremony Thursday afternoon with a large smiling crowd featuring the city’s most prominent including the mayor, who expressed pride in the opening as a symbol of continued community growth.
Offering both short- and long-term stay options, the Marriott Fairfield Inn and TownPlace Suites, just east of Interstate 10 on Florence Boulevard at 742 N. Mission Parkway, has been open since May 6, but on Thursday afternoon business leaders and city officials gathered to commemorate the occasion with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
“It’s really a pleasure to join you today as we celebrate the grand opening of this beautiful new Marriott hotel in the Casa Grande Promenade,” Mayor Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons said into a microphone to the crowd. “On behalf of the City Council, and our community, I want to congratulate all of you.”
