Surprise Mayor Sharon Wolcott said her city is in a great position moving forward in her 2015 State of the City Address, and she punctuated that sentiment with the announcement of a major new development.
Wolcott stood before the Surprise Chamber of Commerce at The Colonnade in Surprise Tuesday morning and announced the incoming arrival of IRIS USA, which will build a new, 300,000 square foot headquarters in Surprise’s Southwest Railplex.
“This new business location represents a nearly $40 million private investment in our community,” she said. “In addition, IRIS USA will create 100 jobs and will generate nearly $800,000 of new revenue for the city in just its first year of operation.”
