Arizona has risen to third in the nation for installed solar capacity, after ranking seventh in 2016, according to the Solar Energy Industries Association.
The state now has 3,254 megawatts of solar installed compared to 656 megawatts in 2016.
The U.S. solar market continued its expansion in the second quarter of 2017 as the industry installed 2,387 megawatts of solar photovoltaics, the largest total in a second quarter to date, according to the latest U.S. Solar Market Insight Report.
